Student of the Month

Students should be celebrated for their interest in the construction industry and their development of related skills. To recognize these achievements, Go Build Alabama asks instructors and administrators to nominate bright young students, apprentices or trainees who are excelling in their programs. Every month, Go Build Alabama rewards winning students and their nominating teachers and instructors with swag items and a social media shout-out.

HOW IT WORKS

GO BUILD ALABAMA WANTS TO RECOGNIZE YOUR STUDENTS for their commitment and passion to careers in the construction industry. Nominations are currently being accepted for the Go Build Student of the Month Award. Each month Go Build Alabama will reward one secondary and one post-secondary student, along with their nominating teacher or instructor, with swag items and a social media shout-out.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be interested in a career in the construction industry, ideally with plans to pursue after graduation, or currently employed in the industry.
  • Should be enrolled or have been enrolled in construction-related technical courses, apprenticeships, or employer-sponsored training programs.
  • Secondary students must be a high school junior or senior.

Nominate Your Student

Nominations are accepted throughout the year. Winners will be contacted by the 10th of each month during the award period. All nominations received may also be considered for other months.
